Nora MacIntyre

sometimes critical, always poignant -- writer on film history, media specialist, freelance creative.

Internally motivated by her own experiences as a lesbian woman in society, Nora’s writing and research stems from a place of thorough, relentless passion. A film aficionado from an early age, she found in classic films not only an appreciation but an understanding that helped her to navigate the choppy waters of her adolescent years. Now confident and vocal about her lifestyle and convictions, she hopes to build upon and expand the realm of queer theory in film by expanding the limited narrative on lesbians and queer women in the cinematic universe. She graduated with a B.A. in Communications from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2017, and enjoys traveling, exercising, and reading in her spare time.
